Vince hung our blackboard, that I was able to get for free. Another homeschooling family gave it to me, since their children were graduating. Awesome, and I love it!

Weekend Edition ~ Kansas Cosmosphere

Tuesday, local lady from a facebook homeschool group, put together a really neat field trip to the Kansas Cosmosphere. We seen Doctor Goddard's lab, which is about rockets and local to Kansas scientist who worked on them. The Planetarium. A dome movie about a Space Shuttle, it was kind of boring, they have better movies but it was ok. The museum. And all the children were able to do a catapult experiment. It also included lunch. The kids pizza was really good. Dad and I's hamburgers were terrible! haha I am so glad though my dad was able to take us. We all had a great time.

Life Learners~Snow Icecream

We made snow ice cream! That's what life learning is about. Science, math, nature study, and life skills!

Field Trip~Science City - Union Station Kansas City

Lela's school goes year around, so here was her field trip we took yesterday. We live at the bottom of Kansas, they had a bus take us to the top, to KC. To Science City at Union Station in Kansas City. To see the traveling King Tut Exhibit.

Lela's favorite was having her name printed in Cartouche. Lela also liked the dino squashed penny a lot too. I didn't even see the cartouche name print machine, but she seen it. It just so happened to be the least expensive and her favorite souvenir.

We also made sure to stop at the Union Station Post Office and send post cards to Grandma Kathy and Grandma Oveela.

A Horse!

Field Trip~Great Plains Nature Center

My dad took us on a wonderful field trip to the Great Plains Nature Center, and found a inch worm for the children to observe.
